For young adults from certain countries who are interested in an extended holiday in Australia for 1 to 3 years and work to fund their travel.

Working Holiday Visa (subclass 417)
This is a temporary visa allowing the holder to travel and work short-term anywhere in Australia.
Must be age 18 to 30 (inclusive) years old, except for Canadian, French and Irish passport holders it is up to 35 (inclusive).
Must hold a passport from eligible country.
Must not be accompanied by dependent children.
First Working Holiday visa - up to 12 months stay.
Second Working Holiday visa - holders of the first subclass 417 visa who have completed 3 months of specified work in regional area on that visa, may apply for a second subclass 417 visa for an additional 12 months stay.
Third Working Holiday visa - holders of the second subclass 417 visa who have completed 6 months of specified work in regional area on that visa or a bridging visa granted for that visa, may apply for a third subclass 417 visa for an additional 12 months stay. The work must have commenced on or after 1 July 2019.
Work and Holiday Visa (subclass 462)
This is a temporary visa allowing the holder to travel and work short-term anywhere in Australia.
Must be age 18 to 30 (inclusive) years old.
Must hold a passport from eligible country.
Must not be accompanied by dependent children.
First Work and Holiday visa - up to 12 months stay.
Second Work and Holiday visa - holders for the first subclass 462 visa who have completed 3 months of specified work in regional area, may apply for a second subclass 462 visa for an additional 12 months.
